Clementine Quilt Along. Top

Como ya os había contado en esta entrada, durante la primera mitad de este año he estado participando en el Clementine Quilt Along que organizan Fat Quarter Shop y Moda Fabrics cada año.

El día 25 de cada mes, han estado publicando un nuevo bloque para ser descargado, y viene en dos medidas finales, el bloque pequeño con una medida de 12" y el bloque grande 20".

Los bloques los puedes descargar en este enlace. Este mes se publican las instrucciones para finalizar el quilt.

Tengo el top ya hecho pero me falta acolcharlo.

No tengo una foto mejor para enseñaros.

La tela de flores será la trasera, y la tela color turquesa es para el bies.

Necesito ir a comprar guata y decidir como lo quiero acolchar.

Es la colcha más grande que he hecho hasta ahora, así que el momento acolchado será interesante.

Pero de este año no va a pasar, prometido.

This year I will be sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop for the Clementine Quilt Along benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

The patterns are available here. Each month on the 25th, a new pattern will be released. We will be making two blocks of the same pattern, one large block, 20", and a smal block,12"

These blocks are perfect for chain piecing.

Y en el momento de sacar las fotos me di cuenta que cosí el bloque grande en el orden que no era jaja

Pero ahora no se me ocurre descoserlo.

Quedan bonitos así todos juntos no?

Y así queda en la cama más o menos.

Como ya os conté en esta entrada, durante la primera mitad de este año participaré en el Clementine Quilt Along que organizan Fat Quarter Shop y Moda Fabrics cada año.

El día 25 de cada mes, un nuevo bloque se publica para ser descargado, y viene en dos medidas finales, el bloque pequeño con una medida de 12" y el bloque grande 20".

No sé el motivo, pero este mes me costó encontrar el momento de ponerme con el bloque, y cuando por fin me puse con él no lo disfruté mucho. Está siendo un mes raro este Mayo.

Y en un momento de tranquilidad comencé a coser los bordes en los bloques pequeños.

Ya sólo quedan los bloques del mes que viene, y luego comenzar a unirlos. Y acolchar y rematar...

Bueno, vamos poco a poco.

Que primaverales quedan así encima de la cama. Pena que la primavera no haya aparecido aún.

Me parece increíble que ya hayan pasado 4 meses. Ya se va acercando el momento de empezar a unirlos.

Como ya os conté en esta entrada, durante la primera mitad de este año participaré en el Clementine Quilt Along que organizan Fat Quarter Shop y Moda Fabrics cada año.

Cada año Fat Quarter Shop y Moda Fabrics organizan un Quilt Along donde cada mes hay un patrón exclusivo para descargar gratuitamente. Aunque ellos sugieren realizar una aportación de 5$ para la organización que eligen cada año.

Este año la organización escogida es el St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Y Fat Quarter Shop y Moda cada uno donaran hasta 10000$ para igualar el dinero recaudado.

This year I will be sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop for the Clementine Quilt Along benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics organize a quilt along every year. They have an exclusive block pattern each month that you can download for free. They sugested a 5$ donation to St. Jude each time you download one of the patterns. The best part is that Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics will each match up to 10,000$ of the donations!

This year, the quilt along is the Clementine in the lovely Mama's Cottage fabric by April Rosenthal.
